If you are a birthparent, you may be interested in reviewing the profiles or portfolio's of families working with Ottawa Adoption Connections.
Ottawa Adoption Connections has started to add portfolio's created by its' Waiting Families. This allows for a more indepth introduction and sharing of more indepth information about these families who are excited to adopt a child. Please click on the links provided below to view information about our Waiting Families.
INSTRUCTIONS: Once you click on the names of our waiting families, you may be prompted by your computer to open or save a file. Click OPEN and the file will open (for example in a Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation). For a PowerPoint Presentation, if you wish to view the portfolio as a slide show, under the header VIEW, click SLIDE SHOW.
NOTE: If your computer is not able to open or view the portfolio's, your computer should prompt you to download the appropriate reader program which will allow you to view the portfolio's.
For PowerPoint Presentations, there is an open source program called OpenOffice which is free to download at www.openoffice.org and will enable you to open PowerPoint presentations once set up in your computer :)
For PDF files, you can visit www.Adobe.com and under downloads you should be able to find the latest reader program :)
